microblading

Microblading is a relatively new, method of semi-permeant tattooing specifically for eyebrows.  it is performed using a special hand tool to deposit pigments into the epidermis and to draw on individual strokes one by one. It’s subtle, but bold enough to give your face new depth and dimension, as well as, giving you a more youthful appearance.

During the microblading process we use a special hand tool. This tool creates hair-like strokes that are individually draw on, which will appear crisp, very fine, and extremely natural, regardless of the amount of natural brow hair present. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows, someone who has over plucked their brows beyond repair. Someone that has tried every pencil, powder, pigment, gel, and stencil possible out there, or your over sitting in front of the mirror slaving over your brows!!. Not to mention, you won’t have to worry about sweating your brows off, after a long, fun night out.

WHAT IS THE MICROBLADING PROCESS?

Microblading is done in two appointments, On the first appointment, you will have a consultation to create a customize eyebrow shape best suited for your face. After the desired shape is created, an application of anesthetic cream is applied to the brow area, to numb the area. Then you lie back and the technician gets to work, by applying your custom color hypoallergenic pigment over the skin.

The procedure typically takes around two hours to complete. The overall experience, would be best described to, it feeling like little scratches. You feel it, but it’s not unbearable. When finished, Your Brows will look slightly darker at first, but the color will fade 30 to 40 percent. According to your skin, you may be sensitive for a little while after having the procedure. You’ll need at least a week to allow the skin to heal. You’ll also want to make sure you don’t scratch or pick at your skin while you’re healing from microblading in order to avoid scarring. (Aftercare ointments are provided during your first appointment.

After your first session of micro blading, you will need to come back for a touch ups to achieve the look most desired. It’s important to wait at least four weeks to give your skin time to heal and make sure you don’t scar. A Touch-Up is performed between 6-8 weeks after the initial service to perfect the shape and pigment selection. The lasting results vary greatly from person to person. However, we recommend a Touch-Up annually to retain the shape and color of pigment. There is no other downside to having this done.
